Master's Degree Course in Mechanical Engineering
ECTS (CFU): 9.0
Year: Second
Lessons hours: 81
Language: Italian
Percorso: Vehicle Engineering
Short Description:
The course aims to provide specific knowledge on the problems of environmental impact from road vehicles and the related regulatory context as well as methodological, technological and modeling skills on advanced propulsion systems.
In addition to this it will introduce the appropriate modeling paradigms of advanced powertrain energy converters (thermal engines, electric motors/generators, fuel cells, etc.) as well as mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic storage systems and present the software tools in which these models can be implemented.
